The beginning of a relationship with McKenzie Picave starts with an initial interview lasting up to 1 hour.
This interview can be conducted in person at the offices of McKenzie Picave or an agreed venue. Alternatively, it can be conducted using video conferencing. There is no charge for this no obligation, interview. The interview allows you to outline your situation and for McKenzie Picave to indicate how we can help.
The Basis of the Relationship
McKenzie Picave charges for its services using this published fee structure. Charges are incurred on a per hour or part thereof basis. Charges are incurred for preparatory work completed by your McKenzie Picave representative and for time spent in Court or on Court business.
The responsibility for paying court fees will be agreed with the client on a case by case basis. All fees are payable in advance. McKenzie Picave will give a quotation with the fees necessary to support you. An initial invoice representing the first task will be issues once you, as the client, have accepted our Terms and Conditions. The initial invoice must be settled prior to any work commencing.

How much does a Family Lawyer cost?
Family lawyers and family solicitors can be costly, by using a McKenzie Friend this can be a more affordable option. Your first consultation with McKenzie Picave is entirely free of cost whilst we get to know each other and look at your case.

Striving to Strike the Right Balance
There is a cost to running to the business of McKenzie Picave. The organisation has office costs, people costs, transport costs and professional costs all of which must be recovered. If there is no recovery of these costs, there is no McKenzie Picave. At McKenzie Picave we also understand that we have an obligation to our clients to ensure that, through our fee structure, we are as accessible as possible to as many people as possible. We believe that our fee structure accurately strikes the balance between being representative of the knowledge, experience and talent that we bring and being fair and reasonable.
